This contemporary coastal duplex was designed to capture expansive water views while fostering a relaxed connection between indoor and outdoor living. A refined material palette of warm timber, exposed concrete and generous glazing creates a calm, light-filled environment, balancing robustness with warmth. Large openings frame the surrounding landscape and maximise natural daylight, while carefully considered proportions and detailing contribute to a sense of understated luxury throughout.
The mirrored duplex residences are arranged across two levels, with the primary living spaces elevated to take advantage of the outlook. An open-plan kitchen, dining and living area extends seamlessly to an outdoor terrace, creating a fluid entertaining space and reinforcing the relationship between architecture and landscape. Secondary living areas and a landscaped courtyard provide more intimate spaces for retreat, resulting in a flexible home that combines contemporary coastal aesthetics with highly functional everyday living.
