Positioned on a dramatic oceanfront site, this residence was conceived as a contemporary coastal retreat that balances privacy, permanence, and a deep connection to the surrounding landscape. The architecture embraces its elevated setting, capturing uninterrupted ocean views while creating a sequence of light-filled spaces that respond to the rhythms of coastal living. Expansive open-plan living areas are framed by full-height glazing and generous openings that dissolve the boundary between inside and out, allowing natural light, sea breezes, and panoramic vistas to become integral elements of everyday life. A restrained palette of natural stone, bespoke timber detailing, and finely crafted finishes reinforces the home's calm and enduring character.
The design extends beyond the interior to create a holistic coastal living experience, with terraces, a swimming pool, and thoughtfully landscaped grounds carefully arranged to engage with the site while maintaining privacy and shelter. A separate studio pavilion provides flexibility for creative work, music, or remote working, while sustainable initiatives, including solar energy generation and EV charging infrastructure, support the long-term performance of the home. The result is a residence that combines refined craftsmanship, environmental responsiveness, and a seamless connection to its extraordinary coastal setting.
